Over the weekend, Lakeside Swim Team’s 12 & under swimmers wrapped up the 2018 KY Long Course State Championship Series by dominating the 12 & under State Championship Meet. Our 13 & Overs gave the team an early lead, winning the 13 & Over meet by close to 1500 points. Not only did our 12 & unders maintain that lead, they earned another 3,622.5 points, nearly outscoring the next five teams combined.

At the 13 & Over State Championship Meet in Elizabethtown, KY, Lakeside swimmers finished on the podium (top 8) 146 times over the course of the weekend in individual events, with 12 different athletes winning 20 individual state titles. In addition, the team also won 6 relays. Below you will find Lakeside’s 13 & Over Individual State Champions:

At the 12 & Under State Championship Meet at the University of Louisville, Lakeside swimmers finished on the podium 165 times, with 9 different athletes winning 26 individual state titles.
