The Ohio Valley Championships!

Parents, we need your help!

We need between 3 to 15 additional lane timers in each session (only 2 sessions out of 9 have enough signed up), so when you hear the announcer asking for additional volunteers, please step up, especially at finals.  We can’t run the meet without timers on every lane!

Prelim and Finals for 13-14 and Senior Divisions

There will be Consolation and Final heats for all 13-14 events (Top 20).

Senior Divisions will have Consolation and Final heats (Top 20) for the 400 Free and 400 IM events.
For all events 200 meters and less, they will have *Bonus, Consolation and Final heats (Top 30).
* The Bonus heat will be reserved for athletes 18 and younger.

* The intent for the 18 and under bonus heat at finals is for age group swimmers, those athletes training with or that have trained or competed with a college team are expected to scratch themselves or notify the head table that they should not be in the bonus heat.  This is the expectation in an attempt of good sportsmanship.

This is an outdoor facility and the Lakeside Swim Team and Lakeside Swim Club have no control over the weather.  If events or sessions are cancelled or shortened due to excessive heat, cold, thunderstorms or other uncontrollable weather issues, there will not be any entry refunds, unless deemed necessary by the Meet Director. The Lakeside Swim Team and Lakeside Swim Club will have swimmer safety as their first concern and will make all decisions concerning the handling of any weather-related issues.
